The Establishment
Raslan Kasih establishes Raslan Kasih & Sons, specialising in Tahini and Halva.
1994
Realising a Vision
Kasih Food Production is established, continuing the family legacy and bringing Middle Eastern cuisine to the world stage.
1996
Partnerships to Enable Sustainability
Started exploring the use of sustainable packaging and became the first globally to adopt the Ultra High Temperature (UHT) technology for making Hummus.
1998
Environmental Packaging
Became the first globally to package Hummus using environmentally conscious carton packaging.
1999
Innovation at its Finest
Pioneered the introduction of Liquid Jameed. Became the first globally to package Liquid Jameed and create this new market category.
2003
Market Expansion
Expanded into the Iraqi market, one of the major markets in the Middle East and became the number one choice among customers.
2010
Pioneered the Hummus Airline Industry
Became the first globally to bring Hummus to the airline industry.
2011
Making Our Way to Space and Enhancing Flavour
Became the first globally to take Hummus to the International Space Station. Embarked on a quest to elevate Hummus flavour, initiating the construction of a new innovative Ultra High Temperature (UHT) plant.
2017
Enhancing our Hummus Flavour
After 6 years of relentless dedication, we were finally able to crack the code and achieve exceptionally flavourful Hummus.
2018
Mezete was born
To fulfil our dream of bringing Middle Eastern flavours to the world, mezete was created.
2020-2021
A Transformative Period
Witnessed strategic transformations including the introduction of aseptic cup technology, in line with our commitment to sustainability. Launched innovative products like the 1kg packaging solution catered for the HORECA sector
